On Thursday, Sept. 15, the Durham Museum will welcome Sally Ramirez and Doug Robinson for a noon performance at UNMC to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month.
Who: Ramirez is an accomplished singer and actress who has performed musical theater in New York, Chicago and Minneapolis and has appeared on television in “The Young and the Restless” and PBS’s “American Family.”
Robinson has toured and done session work as a vocalist, guitarist, bassist and producer. He has played five consecutive seasons at the famed “Festival D’Ete” World Music Festival in Quebec City, Canada.
What: Performing songs in Spanish, Portuguese and English, Sally and Doug impart the joy of musical celebration and educate about different composers and the cultural values that inspire their work.
When: Noon, employees are encouraged to bring lunch.
