Also featured are commentary about national public health news stories and upcoming events at the college.

In this issue, Phil Smith, M.D., professor of epidemiology, and Kristin Watkins, Center for Preparedness Education, write about issues related to drowning, injuries, animals and insects, cleanup, mold and environmental concerns.

Water damage, cleanup and your health is addressed in an article by Shawn Gibbs, Ph.D., associate professor of environmental, agricultural and occupational health.
