Baldness will descend on the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium at 1 p.m. today as UNMC pediatric oncologist Bruce Gordon, M.D., and several others will give up their hair at the Shave-A-Thon to benefit The St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Why: To benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation — the world’s largest volunteer fundraising program for childhood cancer.
