Reminder — New parking lot options available for employees

Parking renewal Online parking renewal will be open through July 15 for anyone who hasn’t renewed online yet. This year’s grace period will be extended through July 31, which means employees have through that date to replace the old blue parking stickers with new red ones.

Employees who are interested may want to consider moves into new parking lots on the southern edge of campus in areas previously occupied by the Omaha Public Power District.

The new lots are:

• Lot 59 — Covered stalls on the lowest level of the existing Lot 50 structure with elevator access to Emile Street. You can also access Emile Street from Lot 59 using the stairwell — particularly if you park on the west side. The monthly lot rate is $25.
  
• Lot 17 — Surface lot directly west of Lot 59 that stretches to Saddle Creek Road. Employees will have access to Emile Street via soon-to-be constructed stairs or the existing elevator in the Lot 50 structure. The monthly lot rate is $19.
