Six teams composed of culinary staff at The Nebraska Medical Center will compete for the title of “Best BBQ Sauce” today but the real winner will be the people served by the American Red Cross’ disaster relief fund.
When: 2:30 p.m.
Where: The Nebraska Cafe
How: Each team will have a jar to collect votes from people tasting the different sauces. They vote with a dollar bill. All the money raised will be donated to the Red Cross to help with tornado relief. Stop by, taste the sauces then vote on your favorite.
What a great way to raise funds for a very worthy organization, The Red Cross and those in NEED.
