Dr. Desa named chief of oral and maxillofacial surgery

Valmont Desa, D.D.S., M.D.

Valmont Desa, D.D.S., M.D., has been named chief of the division of oral and maxillofacial surgery.

Dr. Desa takes over for Leon Davis, D.D.S., M.D., who has led the division since 2007. Dr. Davis also led the division from 1976 until 2002.

Dr. Desa’s new role starts on July 1. Dr. Davis will retain a part-time faculty appointment within the division.
