Volunteers sought for July transplant reunion

Volunteers are needed for the 2011 Solid Organ Transplant Reunion, which will be held July 30 at the Coco Key Water Resort Hotel and Convention Center.

Many volunteers are needed to assist with children’s activities, registration, T-shirt sales and more.

The event is for current and former solid organ transplant patients and their families to reunite with friends and staff they met while at the hospital and to enjoy educational sessions, fun activities and food.

More than 800 people from around the country are expected to attend this year’s event. All volunteers will receive a 2011 Transplant Reunion T-shirt.
