The Bridge to Care program — a student-initiated interdisciplinary partnership that seeks to enhance access to care for recently resettled refugees in the Omaha Community — seeks more faculty and student support.
The group — which is supported by the College of Public Health’s Inter-Professional Service Learning Academy — invites health care professionals and students to attend its monthly educational sessions with refugees to assist in answering health-related questions asked by the refugees.
The group’s next meeting is Saturday (April 30).
