Medical marijuana the focus next Omaha Science Cafe

Ally Dering-Anderson, Pharm.D., will discuss the ethical debate surrounding the use of medical marijuana at the next Omaha Science Cafe on Tuesday at the Slowdown (729 N. 14th St.).

Ally Dering-Anderson, Pharm.D.
Who: Dr. Dering-Anderson is a clinical assistant professor in the College of Pharmacy who teaches pharmacy law and ethics.

What: Science Cafe is a free educational event sponsored by UNMC and other groups to increase science literacy among young adults. Hosted by UNMC, Bio Nebraska and the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.

When: Science Cafes are held the first Tuesday of each month in Omaha and one Thursday every other month in Lincoln. They start at 7 p.m.

Other information: Free pizza, available for the first 50 people, will be provided by Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.
