The UNMC Youth Learning Center needs faculty, staff and student volunteers to present on a wide range of health care fields.
The center offers 22 health care oriented career exploration programs to K-12 students.

These students are committed to their personal development and interested in the health sciences/health careers. Most are honors students with a GPA of 3.8 or higher.
Helping these bright, eager minds learn all they can about a broad range of health careers is why we need you.
Volunteer commitments likely would be on a Saturday morning during the school year — although evening and afternoon opportunities exist as well — and during regular business hours for summer programs.
The majority of presentations last about 45 minutes and include information on the presenter’s field, as well as the individual’s education and career path.
