Skate-a-thon 2011 — A look ahead at Friday’s weather

KETV meteorologist Bill Randby gives us a special look ahead at the weather for Friday’s opening ceremonies for the UNMC Skate-a-thon for Parkinson’s.

Randby will emcee the ceremony, which starts at 6 p.m. at the UNMC ice rink.

The skate-a-thon is a 24-hour fundraiser to support Parkinson’s research and care.

Kudos to Bill Randby for his efforts on behalf of the skate-a-thon. It's going to be a great event for a great cause. The weather looks good for Friday. Tell your friends and family and let's have an awesome turnout.
