Marlene Schneider has been reelected as chairperson for the State of Nebraska Alcohol and Drug Counseling Board.
Below is a list of achievements, activities and happenings involving UNMC staff, faculty and students.

The Healthcare and Emergency Responder Organization Education through Simulation (HEROES) project received a Partnership Award from the Eastern Nebraska/Western Iowa Medical Reserve Corps. The award recognizes HEROES for providing the corps with triage simulation experiences local volunteers. HEROES is funded through the UNMC College of Nursing by a University of Nebraska Programs of Excellence Grant.

Marlene Schneider, counselor in the UNMC Faculty Employee Assistance Program, has been reelected chairperson for the State of Nebraska Alcohol and Drug Counseling Board. Schneider has served on the board since its inception in 2004.
