Spots remain for Tuesday’s blood drive

To register:

Visit http://www.redcrossblood.org;
Find the UNMC drive by first clicking on our region and then entering the UNMC drive sponsor code — which is 1199; and
Scroll down to the UNMC drive on Dec. 28.

Those who experience problems with the registration website can call Peter Pellerito at 559-5253.

Openings remain for those who want to give during Tuesday’s UNMC blood drive.

The drive will run from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Student Life Center. The goal is to collect 42 units of blood.

It’s especially important for people to give this drive, said drive organizer Peter Pellerito, as the Red Cross regularly sees its blood levels drop very low in the winter months.

Shuttle services will be available for those who give blood and the Red Cross will raffle off calendars and goody bags during the drive. Contact Pellerito at 559-5253 to inquire about shuttle service
