Burke Ensemble to spread holiday cheer at Music as Medicine

The Burke Ensemble will bring its festive, multilingual and interactive holiday spirit to campus today as it performs at noon in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium as part of the Music as Medicine series.

Sponsors

The concert is sponsored by UNMC’s School of Allied Health Professionals in support with UNMC’s Center for Continuing Education and the UNMC Human Resources Department.

The group’s previous holiday performances at UNMC have thrilled the campus crowds.

They sing in a variety of styles, languages and often include choreographed dances in conjunction with their songs. They also have been known to walk out among their audiences to surround spectators with their joyous music.

So grab lunch and head over to the DOC West Atrium to enjoy the holiday sounds!
