Sustainability campaign meeting today at noon

The UNMC Sustainability Committee will host a noon meeting today in the Durham Research Center Auditorium.

At the meeting, attendees will learn how they can be actively engaged in the medical center’s sustainability initiative.

Long a leader in environmental stewardship — the medical center has decided to step up its efforts in this area. A commitment to cut utility costs by 25 percent during the next five years is one indication of UNMC’s increased efforts on the sustainability front.

Employees are encouraged to bring lunch. Cookies and refreshments will be provided.
