Pharmacy grads once again achieve 100 percent pass rate on licensing exam

For a second-consecutive year, the College of Pharmacy graduating class had a 100 percent pass rate on the national pharmacy licensing examination.

All 69 of UNMC’s graduating pharmacy students passed the examination on their first attempts.

The national pass rate for all colleges of pharmacy was 95.3 percent. UNMC students had an average score of 109.8. The national average score was 103.1.

“Once again our students performed remarkably well on their licensing exams, which reflects an outstanding educational effort by our students and the dedication of our faculty and preceptors to the education of pharmacists who are exceedingly well prepared to meet the health care needs of patients,” said Courtney Fletcher, Pharm.D., dean of the College of Pharmacy.
