It’s the type of test some students take more than once, unless you’re the dental class of 2013.
They breezed through part one of the national board exams for dentistry. All 45 students passed it on their first attempt.
In honor of this accomplishment, UNMC College of Dentistry Dean John Reinhardt, D.D.S., threw the students an ice cream social.
"Passing this exam on the first attempt is an outstanding achievement considering that nationally the rates are around 90 percent. We are very pleased with our students’ accomplishment and congratulate them and the faculty,” Dr. Reinhardt said.
