To this end, UNMC officials have deemed Sept. 19-25 as Personal Safety Awareness Week.
UNMC Today will feature stories each day this week designed to help you learn to protect yourselves in a variety of situations.
Stories will focus on topics such as:
- The medical center’s new active shooter policy;
- The various methods UNMC uses to inform employees and students about threatening situations; and
- Steps people can take to prepare themselves for major disasters and emergencies such as pandemic and tornadoes.
