New students from the School of Allied Health Profession’s Division of Radiation Science Technology Education took part in a pinning ceremony last week.
Below is a list of achievements, activities and happenings involving UNMC staff, faculty and students.

Forty-four students received pins during the annual School of Allied Health Profession Division of Radiation Science Technology Education Pinning Ceremony last week. The pins symbolize the student’s formal introduction into radiation science technology and are a reminder of the professionalism the new students must acquire to be successful in their field.

Members of the University of Nebraska Board of Regents toured the College of Dentistry’s new clinic before the board met in Lincoln last Friday.

Science Cafe will come to western Nebraska next week when Darwin Brown, an assistant professor in physician assistant education in the School of Allied Health Professions, discusses hypertension at the Steel Grill in Scottsbluff on Tuesday evening. Previous Science Cafes have been held in Omaha and Lincoln.
