Clinical and research interests:
- Myleodysplastic syndrome;
- Myeloproliferative disorders;
- Allogeneic stem cell transplantation; and
- Graft-versus-host disease.

- Internal medicine residency at University of Illinois at Chicago, St. Francis Hospital; and
- Onc/Hem Fellowship at Winship Cancer Institute, Emory University School of Medicine, Atlanta.
