This week the Idaho Vandals invade Memorial Stadium. The Vandals also are 1-0 after they dismantled the North Dakota Fighting Sioux 45-0 to open their season.
Let’s see what our panelists think about this week’s tilt between Nebraska and Idaho.

Team Runco/Kelsay says “For those of you in distress about last week’s defensive performance — easy — don’t worry about the D (this comes from a national championship ring bearer and one of the most dominant rush ends in NU football history, people!). We’d be willing to bet our D is better now than it was last year at this time. Too many people remember how dominating we were against Texas and Arizona. As for this week, Idaho presents a much bigger challenge. Although they were 8-5 last year, they do not fare well against BCS teams. We should be able to go out and take care of business, but we will need a much better pass rush than last week. The offense needs to be sound, not turn the ball over and control the clock.” NU 38, Idaho 13
Kyle Ringenberg, M.D., says “Expect NU to make improvements on both sides of the ball as young players at pivotal positions become more comfortable playing on this stage. Idaho has a decent offense and will move the ball at times. My beautiful wife, who just gave birth to our second beautiful daughter, predicts NU 42, Idaho 14. I’m going with her.”
