The 2010 I Love My Librarian contest is underway at ilovelibraries.org.
It’s a great chance to recognize the folks up in McGoogan Library for all the work they do to keep the medical center moving.
Nominate your favorite “McGoonanite” for this year’s award here.
Nominations will be accepted through Sept. 20 and up to 10 librarians from around the country will be selected for the award.
Each winner receives:
- A $5,000 cash award;
- A plaque; and
- A $500 travel stipend to attend an awards reception in New York hosted by The New York Times.
Each award winner’s library also receives a plaque.
