Still time to register or be a sponsor for SHARING the Green

About the SHARING Clinics

The SHARING Clinics are a nationally recognized group of clinics that serve the uninsured and underinsured at little or no cost. Founded in 1997, the SHARING Clinics include:

  • SHARING for general health care;
  • RESPECT for STD testing, treatment, and counseling;
  • GOODLIFE for diabetes care; and
  • A dental clinic in Lincoln run by College of Dentistry students.

Students and faculty from a variety of disciplines, including medicine, nursing, physical therapy, dentistry and public health work together to provide patients with integrated, multidisciplinary care.

There’s still time to register to play in or be a donor for the 11th annual SHARING The Green Golf Tournament, which will be held on Friday, Sept. 10 at Stone Creek Golf Course in Omaha.

It starts at 1 p.m. with a shotgun start.

SHARING the Green is an 18-hole, 4-ball scramble with pin prizes. Funds from the tournament benefit UNMC’s student-run SHARING Clinics.
