UNMC’s 2010 One Class-World Class Alumni Reunion is set for Oct. 8-9 in Omaha.

Where:
- Oct. 8 — UNMC campus
- Oct. 9 — Truhlsen Events Center in the Sorrell Center during the morning and afternoon; Hilton Omaha for dinner in the evening
Who: Alumni from five different UNMC academic units — the colleges of medicine, nursing, pharmacy and public health and the School of Allied Health Professions. The honor classes are 1945, 1950, 1955, 1960, 1965, 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005 and those who graduated more than 50 years ago.
Highlights: NOTE — A significant change from previous years is that most of the campus activities will take place on Saturday rather than on Friday.
Friday, Oct. 8
- 1 to 4 p.m. — Department tours of Sorrell Center, neurology, library, Weigel Williamson Center for Visual Rehabilitation, gross anatomy, Home Instead Center for Successful Aging, and the Center for College of Nursing Sciences.
- Evening — Class reunion parties and dinners.
Saturday, Oct. 9
- 10 to 11:30 a.m. — Guided walking tour or shuttle tour of campus.
- 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Deans speak at lunch in Truhlsen Events Center.
- 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. — Presentations on excellence in education and new discoveries, shuttle tour of campus.
- 5 to 9 p.m. — UNMC Alumni Celebration and Awards Dinner, Hilton Omaha, 1001 Cass St.
Cost:
- Lunch with deans, Oct. 9 — $25 for members, $30 for non-members
- Awards dinner, Oct. 9 — $65 for members, $75 for nonmembers
- Both events — $75 for members, $90 for nonmembers.
