Aug. 28 golf tournament will benefit children with cancer

 

The public is invited to participate in the 3rd Annual Camp Quality Heartland Charity Golf Scramble on Saturday, Aug. 28 at Tara Hills Golf Course, 1410 Western Hills Drive, in Papillion.

Proceeds will benefit Nebraska and Iowa children ages 4 to 18 who are undergoing cancer treatment or who are cancer survivors. Camp Quality Heartland is an all-volunteer non-profit organization that provides a free summer camp and year-round support programs for with children and their siblings. All programs are funded through private donations.

 
Registration for the tournament will begin at noon with a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Cost for a 4-person team is $240 and includes green fees, cart and dinner. Pin prizes and flight prizes will be awarded. Four-person team and hole sponsorship is $305. Hole sponsorships are $65. Donations of cash or prizes also are accepted.
