Open spots remain for Tuesday’s trolley tour

Partnership note The tour is offered through the Time Travelers partnership, which provides free museum admission for UNMC, Medical Center and UNMC Physician employees, students, and their immediate family with valid identification. The partnership also brings lectures, workshops and other events to the medical center campus.

Seats remain for “The Gritty City” noon trolley tour of downtown Omaha on Tuesday.

The trolley will leave from the Durham Research Center drive-up area and take visitors through downtown Omaha, pointing out several historic locations, including:

• The former site of Madame Anna Wilson’s home;
  
• The Brandeis Building; and
  
• The Paxton Hotel.

A $5 cash payment will be collected prior to boarding the trolley.

The tour is for employees of The Nebraska Medical Center, UNMC and UNMC Physicians (spouses and guests will be accommodated only if space permits).
