The inaugural Farnam Festival will be held Saturday from 3 p.m. to midnight at 40th and Farnam streets and will feature seven bands and a silent art auction.
“We are planning on making the Farnam Festival an annual event and each
year we hope to make it bigger and better,” said Brad Iwen, one of the event coordinators and owner of a Midtown Omaha photography business. “Every year will bring a new cause and a new mission.”
The goal of this year’s festival is to raise money to allow Farnam Street to be converted to two-way traffic between 36th and 42nd streets.
