Clinical research workshop set for Sept. 30-Oct. 1

Those interested in conducting clinical trials are invited to a clinical trails training workshop on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 in the Sorrell Center.

About Pfizer’s participation

Pfizer has been invited by UNeHealth, a partnership between UNMC, UNMC Physicians and The Nebraska Medical Center, to conduct the clinical trials training workshop.

Pfizer Corporation will conduct the day-and-a-half workshop, which provides investigators and others with:
  • A fuller appreciation for their responsibilities in clinical research.
  • Practical guidance on effective and efficient clinical trial conduct; and
  • An opportunity for investigators to visit and share experiences with fellow clinical research professionals.

New investigators, experienced investigators, study coordinators and those who work in clinical trials administration all are invited to the workshop.

There is no cost to attend the workshop, which will take participants through all stages of conducting a clinical trial, from planning through to close-out activities.

Those interested should contact Jimmy Burt by Aug. 17 at james.burt@unmc.edu or 552-6340 and provide their department, division and degree.
