The UNMC Faculty Senate has elected officers for 2010-2011.
The officers are:
- President — Luis Marky, Ph.D., professor of pharmaceutical sciences in the UNMC College of Pharmacy;
- Immediate past president — Karen Honeycutt, School of Allied Health Professions;
- Vice President/President elect — Wayne Stuberg, Ph.D., Munroe-Meyer Institute; and
- Secretary/Treasurer — Audrey Nelson, Ph.D., College of Nursing.
The senate serves as the governing body empowered to represent the UNMC faculty. It includes a total of 42 members with representatives from each major academic unit
