Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we randomly select a medical center employee to feature.
This week, we feature Dorothy Panowicz, budget and fiscal analyst in business and finance.
Dorothy Panowicz |
- I was an Air Force brat, landing in Nebraska in 1967 after living in California, Kansas, Alabama and Alaska.
- My husband, Tony, and I have been married for 29 years this summer.
- Sometimes I wonder if I’m turning into my mother. My parents’ birthdays are nine days apart — in the same year. Tony is nine days older than I am. My mom has four children – three girls and a boy. I also have four kids – three girls and a boy. Time will tell if I have 11 grandchildren as she does. So far I have two bright and beautiful grandsons.
- Our family loves animals. I have to keep telling my kids no more pets. Two dogs and three cats are enough!
- I love working at UNMC for many reasons. One is because I like going to school and definitely make good use of our tuition benefit. I have been going to UNO off and on since 1977.
Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
