Each Thursday, we randomly select a medical center employee to feature.
This week, we feature Toni Harris, marketing specialist for UNeMED Corporation.
Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Toni:

- I grew up in New London, Conn., and moved to Nebraska in 1993, straight from the city to a farm in Loop County. It was quite the culture shock. After a year I moved to St. Paul, Neb., then to Ashland, Neb., in 2000 to be closer to the city.
- You could call me a professional “volunteer.” My kids and friends say I don’t know how to say “no.” I organize fundraisers, run the concession stand for our school sporting events, serve on several committees for school functions, help with any activity my daughters get involved in and coach junior cheerleading for girls ages 5-12.
- I’m the official caterer for our office, UNeMed Corporation. My preferred dishes are breakfast egg bake, my legendary dark chocolate brownies (from scratch) and Oreo balls, just to name a few.
- I have two beautiful daughters, Megan, 20, and Jessica, 15.
- I’m very lucky with radio contests. I have won many concert tickets. The biggest prize was in 2008 when I won a trip to Las Vegas on the Party Plane with Todd & Tyler from Z-92. Most recently, I was a qualifier for $1,000 gift card at Brewsky’s. Didn’t win, but that would have been one heck of an office party!
