The state seeks several health professionals to serve on health-related boards.

Health professionals needed include:
- Physicians;
- Dentists;
- Physical therapists;
- Nurses;
- Pharmacists;
- Psychologists;
- Mental health practitioners;
- Perfusionists;
- Medical nutrition therapists;
- Audiologists;
- Respiratory care practitioners; and
- Medical radiographers.
Most board terms are five years and most require the applicant to be a Nebraska resident and have an active Nebraska credential (license/certification) for the past five years.
An exception is the Nebraska Center for Nursing Board, which has a deadline of June 21.
The deadline for other open positions is Aug. 1.
Duties include:
- Administration of licensing examinations;
- Recommending the issuance or denial of licenses;
- Reviewing and implementing changes in legislation and regulations;
- Complaint screening; and
- Recommendations on disciplinary actions.
