Robin Taylor, Laura Bashus join U-wide benefits advisory group

Employees with suggestions regarding the university’s benefits program now have two new liasons to contact.

Laura Bashus, an administrator in the College of Public Health Dean’s Office, and Robin Taylor, office associate in the department of pharmacology and experimental neuroscience, have recently been appointed to the Universitywide Employee Benefits Advisory Committee by UNMC Chancellor Harold M. Maurer, M.D.

Bashus represents managerial/professional staff members and Taylor represents office/service employees.

They join Joe Anderson, M.D., professor and vice chairman of radiology, who is UNMC’s faculty representative and chairman of the committee.

The committee advises the university’s vice president for business and finance to ensure employee input in administrative decisions regarding employee benefits.
