One week left to skate at UNMC ice rink

The UNMC ice rink closes for the season on Sunday evening.

The ice rink in the Sorrell Center student plaza will close for the season on Sunday evening, which means skaters have one week left to enjoy “The Ice at UNMC.”

The rink is open from:

• 4 to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday;
  
• 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday; and
  
• Noon to 8 p.m. on Sunday.

It also is open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday.

UNMC employees and general community members get admission and rent skates at the campus ice rink for $5.

Students get free admission to the rink and can rent skates for $3.

Families of five or more get admission and skate rentals for $20.

All payments must be done with cash or credit cards. Debit cards and checks are not accepted.
