Each Thursday, we randomly select a medical center employee to feature. This week, we feature Sandra McKenzie, employment consultant in UNMC Human Resources.

- I’m originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and have lived in Fremont since 1971. I visit Nova Scotia and Bermuda every year to visit relatives.
- I have three grown children and four grandchildren.
- I enjoy playing golf and this past year I joined the Executive Women’s Golf Association.
- My special hobby is working with my collection of marionette puppets. Currently, I do puppet shows at Easter and Christmas with the German American Society. My goal is to eventually perform for children’s birthday parties and for children who are hospitalized.
- I would not turn down a game of Texas Hold ’em!
