Teddy Roosevelt impersonator to present on campus on Feb. 23

Rough Rider, president, outdoorsman, historian and progressive reformer are all words that describe Teddy Roosevelt.

On Tuesday, Feb. 23, UNMC, along with the Durham Museum, will welcome historical impersonator, Dr. John “Chuck” Chalberg as President Theodore Roosevelt for a noon performance. Employees are encouraged to bring lunch.

Chuck Chalberg
Dr. Chalberg delights many audiences throughout the United States with his historical impersonations of American and British characters, such as Roosevelt and G.K. Chesterton.

His presentation in the Sorrell Center, Room 2010, will explore Roosevelt’s vibrant history and contributions. Dr. Chalberg is a professor of American History at Normandale Community College in Bloomington, Minn.

The lecture is offered through the Time Travelers partnership, which provides free museum admission for medical center employees, students, and their immediate family with a valid identification badge, while also offering lectures, workshops and other events on the medical center campus.
