Wellness Wednesday – Free passes, family days and new lunch skate days

picture disc. UNMC Today readers can win two free, individual day passes to the campus skating rink and families skate for $10 on Saturdays thanks to two new special offers.

Also, UNMC has moved it’s lunch time skate days to Tuesdays and Thursdays, which means the rink will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on those days.

Once each week, this ice skate icon “” will be randomly placed into the text of a UNMC Today story.

If you find the icon, click on it and send us a message to let us know you found it. If you’re the first to find it, you win the free passes.

The passes are good for use any day until the rink closes on Feb. 28 and they can be given to friends or family members. Skate rental fees are covered by the passes.

Readers can only win one time per skating season.

In another offer, families of any size skate for $10 on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The $10 charge also includes the cost of skate rental.
