Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee to feature.
This week, we feature Beverly Vaughn, undergraduate program coordinator in the department of surgery.
Beverly Vaughn |
- I have a 26 ½ year old daughter. She was born 3 months early weighing 1 lb and 13 ozs and lived in the NICU at The Nebraska Medical Center for two months with hardly any complications.
- In high school I was a shot putter for three years. I won several medals and I also qualified for the state track meet.
- I played softball for many years and I was the bat catcher. I later switched to a third base woman. I also hit lots of home runs.
- I’m the sixth of seven children. I was born on Nov. 1. My mother wanted to take the other five children trick or treating so she asked me to wait another day to be born.
- I teach children’s church two Sundays a month to children ages 4 to 6 years old.
Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
