Dr. Sarvetnick co-chairs immunology tolerance conference

Nora Sarvetnick, Ph.D.

Nora Sarvetnick, Ph.D., professor in the transplant section of the UNMC Department of Surgery and a world-renowned immunology expert, recently co-chaired the inaugural Conference on Immune Tolerance in Boston.

More than 250 scientists from around the world attended the conference, which featured three days of lectures and symposiums from immunologists.

The conference was sponsored in part by the scientific journal, “Elsevier.”

Dr. Sarvetnick will organize the second conference, which will be in two years in Amsterdam.
