Dr. Feloney to present Thursday Lincoln Science Cafe

Michael Feloney, M.D.

Michael Feloney, M.D., assistant professor of urologic surgery at UNMC, will present “The Science of Sex” at the Lincoln Science Cafe on Thursday.

His presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. at red9, 322 S. 9th St., in Lincoln.

Dr. Feloney’s April presentation in Omaha was among the most popular discussions of the Science Cafe series.

Science Cafes are part of an effort by UNMC and other groups to increase the population’s science literacy. The cafes are hosted by UNMC, BioNebraska and the Nebraska Coalition for Lifesaving Cures.

A more scientifically literate populace is a goal in UNMC’s strategic plan. The goal of the Science Cafes is to introduce and get young adults interested in science by presenting it in a casual setting.
