An online photo database and two postcard templates are among the new features available on the UNMC Branding Resources Web site.

Join the communicators group

Do you create communications materials such as newsletters and brochures for your department? If so, you are a campus communicator! Contact Jill Carson at jlcarson@unmc.edu to join the campus communicators group. The group meets regularly to discuss writing, design and using the UNMC brand elements.

The photo database contains more than 300 images of the UNMC campus, which were shot by professional photographers. The photos can be used royalty-free for UNMC commercial purposes. The database will expand as more images are added.

“Strong, dynamic photography is an important and effective tool for expressing our brand in communications,” said Renee Fry, J.D., director of public relations. “This database is a way in which we can provide a library of professional, quality images to the UNMC community.”

The postcard templates include files for standard-sized and deluxe-sized postcards.

A new version of the UNMC brand book is available for download at the site. The new version includes ways in which college and department names can and cannot be expressed with the new UNMC icon, and center and institute signatures.

The branding site also includes templates for Power Point presentations, newsletters and brochures.
