Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Mike Overton, manager of building systems management.
Mike Overton |
- I’ve been married to my bride, Mary, for 29 wonderful years and God has blessed us with three wonderful children, Chris Heather, and Kayleigh, and two grandchildren.
- I have been employed at the university for 34 years and still work in facilities where I started in 1975.
- I enjoy fishing, boating and canoeing whenever I get a chance to go.
- I was born in Nebraska City, Neb., and then moved to Omaha in 1968, where my father had taken a job in what we on campus called the 701 building. This building has been torn down for future expansion on campus.
- I am the youngest of two children and I’m still smarter then my older sister.
Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
