Lookin’ at U – Greg Higgins

This week, we feature Greg Higgins, campus security corporal.

Here, in his own words, are five fun facts about Greg:

• I’ve been married for 24 years to Fran Higgins, administrative associate in the School of Allied Health Professionals. We have three wonderful children and one delightful grandson.

• I am retired Air Force — I was a Russian cryptologic linguist for nine years and security police for five.

• I was a Theology/Justice and Society Major at Creighton University. I’m still only one lousy semester away from my degree (ouch).

• Two of my hobbies are photography and collecting vintage, Soviet-era propaganda.

• I truly love working here at UNMC. I’ve been here since November 2006 and have made so many great friends. Every day brings a new and exciting challenge.
