Lookin’ at U – Anna Kellogg

That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”

Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.

This week, we feature Anna Kellogg, research nurse coordinator in the section of transplant.

Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Anna:

I have enjoyed working on the UNMC campus for 23 years. I have worked as a clinical research nurse coordinator for kidney pancreas transplantation for the last 7 years. It has been a great experience working with new drug therapies to preserve people’s health.
I am going to be an empty nester this fall as my son is graduating from Central High School. He will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln for pre-med and will major in food science and technology.
I enjoy traveling; one of my goals is to travel to Monte Carlo in the south of France.
My son and I have two dogs — Pepper and Romeo.
My favorite season of the year is summer. I love to swim, barbecue, read a book and drink margaritas.
