A total of nine segments — which began running last night — will air on the weekend and will feature Dr. Smith addressing topics related to the H1N1 virus.
Here is a schedule of this weekend’s segments, including those that ran Thursday:
- Thursday at 5 p.m. — “Why are cases more severe in Mexico?”
- Thursday at 6 p.m. — “Is there a vaccine?”
- Friday at 5 p.m. — “Why is there so much concern about this strain?”
- Friday at 6 p.m. — “What’s the difference between H1N1 and ordinary flu?”
- Saturday First News (8 a.m.) — “What are the symptoms?”
- Sunday First News (8 a.m.) — “What precautions should be taken if traveling?”
- Sunday at 10 p.m. — “Should healthy people get Tamiflu/Relenza?”
- Monday First News (6 a.m.) — “Are masks effective?”
- Monday at 6 p.m. — “What should you do if a coworker has flu symptoms?”
