The following is a schedule of this weekend’s “Health Watch Asks, UNMC Answers” segments on KETV NewsWatch 7.

  • Friday at 6 p.m. — “Should I ice or heat an injury?” with Gib Willett, Ph.D., School of Allied Health Professions;
  • Saturday First News (8 a.m.) — “When should potty training begin?” with Brett Kuhn, Ph.D., Munroe-Meyer Institute;
  • Sunday First News (8 a.m.) — “When should I being getting mammograms?” with Sonya Kinney, M.D., UNMC OB/GYN, Olson Center for Women’s Health;
  • Sunday 10 p.m. — “What can people do to slow the aging process?” with Mary Cramer, Ph.D., College of Nursing; and
  • Monday First News (6 a.m.) — “With more people surviving cancer, how has that changed research?” with Ken Cowan, M.D., Ph.D., director of the Eppley Cancer Institute.

“Health Watch Asks, UNMC Answers” is a partnership between UNMC and KETV NewsWatch 7 that features medical center experts discussing a wide variety of health topics.

One of the goals of this partnership is to provide information to empower people to become advocates for their health and well-being.
