Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Mirna Colon, regulatory data associate in the Eppley Institute.

- I’ve got four grandchildren, Sienna, Paloma, Bella and Christopher Daniel. Another baby boy is expected in April.
- I’m originally from the Bronx, N.Y., where my career in the health environment started more than 25 years ago.
- Aside from New York, I’ve lived in five different states — Arizona, Florida, Kentucky, Tennessee and Nebraska. I think I’m here to stay.
- My son has just turned the big 13 and he is a proud teenager.
- Last but not least, I love my job in the Eppley Cancer Institute’s Clinical Trials Office. I’m truly blessed.
Read UNMC Today next Thursday to see who is featured in the next Lookin’ at U article. Who knows — it could be U.
