Quick, think of five things others should know about you.
That’s the theme behind a series in UNMC Today called “Lookin’ at U.”
Each Thursday, we will randomly select a medical center employee or student to feature.
This week, we feature Pat Tolliver, administrator I in oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Here, in her own words, are five fun facts about Pat:
Pat Tolliver |
- I have worked in the section of oral and maxillofacial surgery for 16 ½ years and LOVE working with the faculty, residents and staff. They are all great!
- I walk a mile every morning with my lab, Krieg. It does not matter if the weather is freezing, he insists on going; however, when it’s below zero, we shorten the walk to two or three blocks since he refuses to wear “Paw Protectors.”
- My son, Josh, received a scholarship from the University of Nebraska at Omaha to go on the UNO Barack Obama Inaugural trip, which leaves Sunday. There will be a film documentary made of the trip.
- I kept my maiden name just so my sons could have a hyphenated last name. I always said when they were in kindergarten, it helped them learn the alphabet.
- This year, my husband, Dan, and I will celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, preferably, somewhere warm and tropical!
