If you have a super-duper steel trap memory, you may recall that in early 2008, UNMC Today asked members of the community to submit their New Year’s Resolutions for publication as sort of a manipulative ploy to get people to stick to their goals.
Well, we had one taker, Lisa Spellman of public affairs, who resolved to lose 10 pounds in 2008.
A few weeks ago, Spellman came to work armed with a slip from Weight Watchers that served as official proof that she had stuck with her New Year’s Resolution.
Following up on last year’s success, Spellman said this year she has resolved to “move more.” We assume that means Spellman plans to be more physically active and not that she plans to change her place of residence more frequently.
But either way, congratulations Lisa on successfully completing your 2008 resolution and good luck this year!
