New Year’s resolutions for 2009:
1. Exercise more;
2. Eat healthier;
3. Be more organized;
4. Help others;
5. Enjoy life more; and
6. Learn something new.
Do any of those sound familiar? They’re a few of the top 10 New Year’s resolutions for 2009. If you’re like me, you’ve probably already broken a few, or maybe you haven’t even started.
Here’s some good news. If the last three resolutions were on your list, I’ve got a suggestion for you that will knock them off with a big “DONE” stamp. Submit a video to the I Love UNMC video contest!
|
In fact, through your video, you’ll probably help hundreds of others with their New Year’s resolutions, too, because they are sure to have learned something new from your video and will have enjoyed two minutes of UNMC love.
So in turn, that helps you along with resolution No. 4 — helping others. Really, it’s a win-win for everyone.
And if it’s not enough to knock off a few resolutions for the year, in less than a week, 11 prizes will be given randomly to a group of lucky entrants, and the odds are looking pretty good of winning a prize.
All you need to do is grab your video camera or cell phone, and record why you love UNMC in two minutes or less. Send it in to us by midnight on Jan. 15, and you’ll be eligible to win one of the prizes. If you need a little inspiration, click here to check out our YouTube page to view the videos already submitted. You don’t have to be a filmmaker or videographer — we’ll accept just about anything, and we’ll accept videos from anybody.
Just taking a few minutes to create your video and send it in could result in great prizes! Click here for a total list of prizes.
And of course, you can check a few items off your New Year’s resolution list.
